The brief for the Dakar Rally in January 2021, A.S.O., the rally’s organiser, commissioned GCK Energy to supply green energy for three days to 25% of the bivouac set up in NEOM, Saudi Arabia. This operation is part of the #DakarFuture programme launched in November 2020 by A.S.O. to transform its event into a leading technological and environmental platform and thereby contribute to the ongoing energy revolution.
The solution: GCK Energy took up the challenge by installing several hundred m² of solar panels, including its Solar Gem(R) solar roof and 200kW/300kWh mobile container.
