Green energy in the middle of the desert
The brief: On the occasion of the Dakar Rally in January 2021, A.S.O., the Dakar organizing company, commissioned GCK Energy to supply green energy for three days to 25% of the bivouac installed at NEOM in Saudi Arabia. This operation is part of the #DakarFuture program launched in November 2020 by A.S.O. to transform its event into a leading technological and environmental platform and thus contribute to the ongoing energy revolution.
The answer: GCK Energy took up this challenge by installing several hundred m² of solar panels, including its Solar Gem(R) solar roof and its 200kW/300kWh mobile container.
