Find out how GCK Energy provided a solution for its clients to organize an eco-responsible event using clean energy.
The brief: Eddy de Pretto, Liam Gallagher, Véronique Sanson… The agenda for the VYV Festival in Dijon is attractive! All that remains is to set up the three stages in the Parc de la Combe à la Serpent and supply them with green electricity. Because yes, the organizers strive to include their event in an ecological, responsible and sustainable approach. To carry out this mission, they contacted the La Coulisse agency, event designer.
The answer: To power part of the off-grid site, La Coulisse relies on our 200 kVA / 300 kWh energy storage container, our 12 KVA / 20 kWh energy storage array and three Frame-Watt solar roofs ® from our manufacturing partner Ecosun Innovations. This device makes it possible to produce 300 kWh and distribute 500 kWh of carbon-free energy. Result ? 20,000 happy spectators!
The brief: A request for a clean energy supplier adapted to the needs of an eco-responsible event.
The answer: Our green energy storage and power solutions offer a quiet and environmentally friendly solution, whatever the type of your event. Replace your diesel generators with a mobile power and energy storage unit.
The brief: From June 30 to July 2, 2023, the Europavox festival welcomed 45,000 spectators, Place du 1er Mai in Clermont-Ferrand, for 3 days of exceptional concerts. Agenda: Orelsan, M, Louise Attaque, etc. Our partner La Coulisse asked us to provide an additional electrical resource to power the Place du 1er Mai site.
The answer: GCK Energy deployed its 225 kVA/280 kWh energy containers, providing the power and energy necessary for the site’s electrical needs (catering, concerts, etc.)
The brief: Sunday July 9, the 9th stage of the Tour de France took place at the top of the Puy de Dôme. A moment awaited for 35 years! The Puy-de-Dôme department and our partner La Coulisse called on GCK Energy to supply the partners’ village.
The answer: GCK Energy deployed an energy container (200 kVA/300 KWh) to power the press and media room, an energy bay (12 kVA/22 kWh), with solar panels, to power a refrigerated truck and an electro-hydrogen group (100 kVA) to meet all the energy needs of the partner village of the Puy-de-Dôme Departmental Council: giant screen, sound system, partner stands, caterer, etc.
The brief: for 3 days, at the foot of the majestic Puy-de-Dôme and in a natural setting suitable for energy sobriety, our partner La Coulisse, in charge of electrical distribution, chose the solutions offered by GCK Energy to meet the challenge of an Off-Grid power supply (not connected to the electricity grid).
The answer: in order to meet the power needs of the various workshops and the main stage, they deployed:
The brief: as part of its commitments to sustainable development and carbon neutrality by 2030, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest has decided to objectively assess the teams’ efforts in terms of energy savings , energy and reduction of CO2 emissions during the 24 hours of Le Mans. As such, the Hertz Team Jota took up the challenge by offering a hospitality space powered almost autonomously by sustainable solutions.
The answer: our partner Motor Incentive, space designer and specialist in the installation of modular reception structures, asked GCK Energy to deploy:
▪️ 6 solar roofs, representing an overall solar production of 1300 kWh
▪️ 1 200 kVA/300 kWh energy container, allowing the energy produced during the day to be accumulated and redistributed in the evening to supply the needs of the hospitality area.
